About PAWEL

Pawel from Poland aims high with both his interests and his future plans! “I’m in love with literally everything connected to aviation,” he says. Pawel is a plane-loving student who attends a special aviation high school in Poland. His interests range from “going on plane spotting (taking photos of planes at an airport) through flying on virtual networks and simulators to organizing special trips just to fly a special type of aircraft.” He and his friends “even opened a virtual airline so that people from all around the world can fly on it!” In addition to his studies, Pawel is also very dedicated to spending time with family and says, “I love them all from the bottom of my heart.” He enjoys spending time with them in the city, seeing new sights or playing games.

Pawel loves exploring new places, and he looks forward to getting to know his host community by meeting new people and getting to know his host family. He says, “I love talking with others. I enjoy telling my life stories, but I also like to listen to others talking about their experiences. In my opinion, we can learn a lot from each other.” Pawel also enjoys volunteering as a way to meet new people and help others.

Pawel shared, “I am faithfully realizing my dream of becoming an airline pilot…to connect my two biggest passions, aviation with traveling.” In the US, he hopes to explore as much as possible “from bigger attractions to small, local traditions.” To his future host family, Pawel says you can expect him to be “a constantly curious person, wishing to learn more today, like there is no tomorrow.” In short, Pawel plans “to take part in as many activities as possible” in the US – “wherever there is an opportunity to experience something new!”
