About NEEMAT

Neemat is a passionate artist from a small village surrounded by nature! She is a devoted member of her family and has three older siblings and a sister-in-law, whom she loves to turn to for guidance and support. Neemat also values the opportunity to be there for her family and friends, saying, “I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation.” Neemat loves “spending quality time with friends and family.” About her three best friends, she says, “They are very close to me, and I cherish them.”

Neemat strives to stay busy at school and with her extracurriculars. In addition to being a martial artist and a writer for her school’s magazine, she is also a gifted painter. She describes painting as “a world of colors where I can express my feelings and thoughts.” Neemat uses art as an opportunity to “relax and disconnect from everyday stress” and adds, “It’s like a silent conversation between me and my canvas!” Perhaps she will take an art class in her new US high school!

A well-rounded individual, Neemat also has a “deep passion for science,” which provoked her interest in medicine. Her “life dream” now is to be a doctor. Neemat is goal-oriented, both in life and when she thinks about her hopes for her exchange year! During this time, she hopes to embrace her uniqueness, enhance her vocabulary, and represent her culture, while also learning about her host family and host community. “This opportunity for me is like a big platform where I can learn and explore new things,” she says, “and capture everything in my mind so I can invest those things everywhere I go.” In her day-to-day explorations, Neemat also hopes to visit parks and see local nature first-hand!
