About JACK

Jack radiates a contagious enthusiasm for life and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. He’s looking forward to embracing new things during his exchange year: "I want to go to the USA to discover and have a different perspective on life because it's very different from Lebanon and from what I’ve seen,” he says. This desire stems from his yearning to not only expand his academic horizons but also to immerse himself in new cultures and experiences!

Jack's is resilient and social, saying, "I want to enjoy my life and live it to the fullest." When he arrives to his new host community, he is excited to “discover new dishes, cultures, and lifestyles.” He is also a young leader who is always looking for opportunities to learn new things and build connections, whether that’s playing basketball with his friends or joining the school’s math club. His passion for mathematics and his ambition to become a dentist underscore his intellectual curiosity.

Jack is dedicated to his family, too. His daily routine includes helping his grandparents and supporting his younger brother's schoolwork, emphasizing his belief in the importance of familial bonds and education. Jack loves interacting with children, sharing that he “will do anything to take care of them and make them feel safe around me.” Above all, Jack is loyal and empathetic, and he always tries to help the people that surround him and make their day better.

Optimistic and empathetic, Jack can’t wait to learn and grow alongside his host family and new friends! He is excited for his YES year, and he’ll bring a profound curiosity about the world and a commitment to forging meaningful connections across cultures. Jack is excited to meet his American family!
